The following include tips that can assist you in ensuring your machines are well maintained in between servicing and repairs.
How often should I check the machine?
Daily. Prior to starting your machine, you should complete a pre-check form to check your oils, fuel and other items.
If the following occurs, notify your Plant Manager to contact us immediately.
– machine won’t start.
– machine is running rough.
– fluid leaks.
– blowing smoke.
Safety Checks
Part of your daily pre-start check should include visual inspection of safety items such as:
– Tyre tread
– Wheel nuts
– Glass
– Mirrors
– Lights (esp for night work)
– Brakes
– Seat & Safety belt
– Door latch
– Air Con
– Visual Cracks
If any of the above are damaged or not working, contact your plant manager.
How often is a machine serviced?
A machine gets serviced based on the amount of hours it is run and the type of environments that they normally work in.
Heavy machinery like container handlers generally get serviced every 250, 500, 1000 and occassionally 3000 hours.
Each machine has an hours metor which must be monitoried.

Genuine Vs Non-Genuine Parts
Genuine parts are used during warranty periods. Outside of the warranty period, we service and repair using quality genuine and non-genuine parts depending on the machine and clients’ requirements.
External Contractors
As required external contractors are used to assist in various repairs such as electrical, machining and manufacturing of parts.
Quality repair and manufacturing of damaged parts can be a cost-effective and efficient way of problem-solving rather than a supply and fit of brand new parts.
We can provide dstimates prior to the commencement of these types of repairs.
External Hire
We also engage external contractors (such as crane hire) to assist in major overhauls, dismantling, assembly and transport of machines.
